What gaming laptop should I get?

Hey, I was just wondering if you could help me! I am looking at getting a “gaming” laptop and just really not sure what to get (I really have limited knowledge of what I need) .. any ideas? I have seen Steam and really want to download heaps however I cannot with my current laptop due to specs.

Hi Brendan,

To be honest, I am not much of a gamer, and I don’t follow hardware that much. I suggest googling Gaming Laptop to try and find something that you like. It also depends on how much money you want to spend. I wouldn’t buy anything from OfficeWorks/Dicksmiths and those other retailers, but I would suggest that you check out places like UMart, MSY (if they’re close by to you).

I hear AlienWare laptops are meant to be pretty good.

I suggest if you find some laptops that you like, and around the price you want to pay, and I’ll compare them for you and give you some feedback on what’s better and why. Eg, what’s a better processor etc.
