Australia Weather Radar Map 6pm 16th Feb 2011

I am used to seeing rain in Australia around the coast, or in spots in central Australia, however, I haven’t seen it so heavy before in central Australia. From Perth, straight through Alice Springs, Mount Isa to Cairns is a massive rain band that halves the country; and from Alice Springs to Sydney, there is  another heavy rain band. Darwin and Western Australia also has a Cyclone. It is just a bizarre weather map.
