After being in Europe for almost 3 months, and hardly hearing a word of English, you really do notice that Australian’s have a strong accent, especially when a tour of Australian’s are in the public area as a group just chatting. You could tell they weren’t from the UK, America or Canada – these people where from Australia.
On the entire north-west side, you have a campsite, and a number of hotels, campers get to utilise. The campsite had basketball courts, tennis and live entertainment – the usual at any campsite or resort. When we were there, they had a tribute to Michael Jackson – with many songs I have never heard. It was a good way to kill a few hours at night. The resort also has a mini shopping complex so you can buy all your souvenirs and of course your dinner.
Also, if you are good at sports, you may give the Animators a run for their money – I almost killed one play tennis!
