There is nothing better than ending a 3 month Europe Vacation than finishing it off with a visit to the best theme park I’ve been too, that I didn’t know existed until I saw the Silver Star in the distance from the highway.
So after saying goodbye to our new friends from Switzerland, we drove back to the best caravan park I’ve stayed at, and went straight to bed as you can’t miss out on one minute of rides.
Here’s some photo’s… but the rides are so much better! I was too excited to take more photo’s of the rides.
So next on our day trip was to visit Kurhaus Weissenstein, Oberdorf, Switzerland. Talk about a stunning view!
I’m sorry, but these photo’s just don’t do justice.
So after staying with our new friends that we met on the French Riviera, they showed us around their home country as well as taking us into the town of Solothurn.
After saying goodbye again in Marostica, we continued on our way to Switzerland. We left at 1:30pm, and arrived in Switzerland at 8:30pm.
The extended time was due at a car accident on the motorway in Italy, and traffic delays entering the Gatthard Road Tunnel – a one lane, 16.2km tunnel, which is the 4th longest tunnel in the world.
The following pictures are driving from Marostica in Italy to Solothurn in Switzerland. We did stop along the way trying source free WiFi as we didn’t have a phone.
In the pictures, we got stuck in traffic due to an accident, and stopped at some sort of Fete, in which I received PS4 lanyards.
After arriving at Pazin and staying for a few nights, it was time to say goodbye and start heading back as the trip is soon coming to an end. However, we just got a few more stops to go before we fly back out of Munch airport.
However, driving out of Croatia didn’t have it’s difficulties. First of all, there was a major grass fire that closed of one of the roads out, which meant we had to travel 30 minutes back along the same road, to go another route. Second, we were stuck at border control for 2 hours due to traffic.
