Bye Thailand, Hello Germany

The two days are up, and we are on the flight to Germany. I have to say, the checking at the airport was much easier, and quicker than in Australia. Oh, and the shopping inside departure is good too. We ended up buying a digital camera for 12000 Baht. Panasonic TZ25. I am not much of a camera enthusiast, so there are probably better cameras for a cheaper price, but it looked good in the airport. So far, the best departure area of an airport I’ve been too (FYI, I haven’t been to many)…

There is Australian

In Australia, we have Thai Restaurants, Japanese Restaurants, Chinese Restaurants etc, but there isn’t an Australian Restaurant in sight. I asked “is there Australian Restaurants/Takeaway overseas”, and my answer was no, because what is would be the main food to be served.

However, my question was answered, and in the Siam Building on the top floor, there is an Australian Outback Restaurant that serves beef steak, chips and other similar Aussie food. So if you want to get Australian, you can in Bangkok. Who knew! We didn’t eat there because it was really expensive, more than usual for what you would pay in Australia.

I thought I throw that last comment in before I write about Europe.
