Our Stay At Camping Santa Gusta La Ciotat

As we spent most of our day walking around La Ciotat waiting for a travel agent to open, we decided to find a caravan park before everything starts getting full. One of the near by camping site was Santa Gusta which was close to the beach, so we decided to stay there.

The campsite has free WiFi and sectioned off in sections so it doesn’t feel as big as it is. There are also permanent residents who stay there.

This was also my first experience of “which toilet do I go to”. There are two separate toilets/shower but both male and females entered both. It’s such a weird feeling the first time sharing public toilets with the opposite sex.

Nevertheless, the campsite and surroundings wasn’t;t the best I’ve seen, but for an overnight stay, it’s a good camp site.

During the night, we went for a 5km walk along the foreshore and into town. It’s quite busy at 9pm when it’s daylight. It’s really odd to as the restaurant are on one side of the road, yet, customers eat on the otherside of the road on the beach. I can’t imagine that happening in Australia.
