So we have left Germany, and entered France again to spend a couple of weeks along the French Riviera. Our entering point, Marseille.
After driving past what looks like a Nuclear Power Plant, we reached the small town. Actually, it’s quite big, and busy.
The industrial side of Marseille
After following the GPS into the CBD, and getting stuck in heavy traffic around the port, we tried to escape the busy town centre and head a bit further south.
However, after being cut off my a car, we missed the turn off, and headed straight into a tunnel, which happened to be a toll road which we always tried to avoid in places where we are just driving around. After a few arguments in the car, and being quite a few KM’s the opposite way we were trying to head, we gave up, and headed straight to the next town, Cassis. And boy, it’s hilly around there.
