Passing by the Croatian War of Independence Museum

After leaving Plitvice Lakes, we took the road through Slunj and headed towards Karlovac. Just prior to reaching Karlovac, we passed something interesting, so we decided to stop. It was the Croatian War of Independence Museum. If you’re driving past, it’s an interesting place to stop.

Campsite Korana – If it wasn’t for the lakes, don’t visit

One of the closest campsites to Plitvice Lakes, is the campsite Korana, which is slightly north of the lakes. If it wasn’t for the lakes, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. There was absolutely nothing, as you can tell by the picture. Oh wait, they did have free WiFi as the entertainment.
