Practical Uses

So what can you use the Git1 Action Camera for?

Using Git1 as Remote Camera

You can install the Final Cam app (Android | iOS) and take remote video and pictures from your mobile device. This can turn the Git1 Action Camera into a great security camera. The Git1 Action Camera broadcast’s its SSID which you can easily connect to it through your mobile phone’s WiFi connection. Once you have done this, you can see live video, start and stop video recording and take pictures. This is great when you are trying to take a group photo and want to be in it! The other benefit is that you can directly access the MicroSD card and save the photo’s directly to your mobile phone.

Using Git1 as a Car Dash Cam

Just purchase a car mount for the camera and you have an instant Car Dash Cam. You can setup options on the camera to automatically turn on when it receives power, and rotate the image in case you need to mount it upside down. You can turn loop recording on and off, motion detection on or off, and even enable the time lapse.

Using Git1 as an Action Camera

Just purchase the appropriate case, and mount the camera to your helmet or your motorbike, and you have an affordable extreme sports camera, recording your every move.

Overall thoughts?

Without purchasing a mounting case, a water proof case, a car mount or even a selfie stick, all you have is a miniature digital camera that sits in the palm of your hand. To make the most use out of the Git1 Action camera, you’ll need to buy a case.

The image and video quality isn’t the best I’ve seen from an Action Camera, but for the price, it isn’t too bad.

Would I buy? Yes, if I really wanted a WiFi action camera for an affordable price.
