FaceBook Changes How Photo’s Are Displayed Once Again
Facebook has yet made another change on how Photo’s are displayed.
Previously, comments on individual photo’s were displayed underneath the photo, now comments are to the right hand side of the photo. The new change also adjusts the size of the photo depending on your browsers window size. A smaller window will mean a smaller image.
Commands for photo’s such as rotate photo, download, are available in a dropdown menu on the top right corner next to the close button. When viewing other people’s photo’s, only the add location, download and report photo options are available.
More information to come. Do you like the new change?
Looks like they picked this up from how Google+ displays photos and comments. It hasn’t appeared for me yet, but I’ll definitely keep an eye out for it.
Do they still provide handy links for downloading image?
And can you beat the system by opening a link to an image in a new tab?
Hi Adam,
It does look very much like Google+ photo viewer. Copycats! Lucky Facebook stole the idea of Google – if it was Apple, Facebook would probably be sued…
Download link still appears, but is hidden way in a dropdown menu – like everything on Facebook now is. I will update the post with an image of it now.
Yes, you can still open images in a new tab to get it displaying on the white background, with the next/previous text links.
