We all have multiple email accounts, Facebook, eBay, PayPal; and the more time we spend on the internet, the more accounts we signup too. But 50, 100 years down the track, there will be a point when we all inevitable die. So what actually happens to all the online content we produce, and the services we sign up to online? In November 2009, I wrote an article on MakeUseOf.com about “What Happens To Your Email and Social Networking Accounts When You Die”. It outlines what happens to your Gmail account, your Hotmail account, your Yahoo account, your Facebook account, and your MySpace account (who still uses that?) when you die. Recently, I got pointed to an Infographic from LifeInsuranceFinder which covers the other “now popular” online services such as YouTube, Google+, Flickr, Linked In, PayPal, eHarmony, and Match.com.
